i have a black coupe and i think when i parked today....the curb was a little too high...

anyhow now i just found out that there is a piece of duct tape at the bottom of my bumper (black in color) ..is that normal? its starting to fall off and stuff..i am tempted to pull it off...

 

that was there from the manufactuer. The car comes covered in plastic, and they probably missed that one.

my friend had it on his 350z when we took his bumper off and it was holding a piece of foam up

Scratched mine too. they told me it is there for extra protection when I bought mine. (thank god it was) I am gonna call and see if I should just rip it off or if they can replace it for the next time I get a little to close to the curb.

 

i just got my car the other day and i have the black tape under the bumper too...what did u guys do with it
