So I called lee myles in my area and the one in west roxbury ma. I talked to dave and he said the shop foreman wont do it because the never worked on g35's before. Does anyone know where i can go i am willing to spend at max 500 bucks for install

Looking through the DIY it seems a little too complicated for me.. Guess I will be sticking with grounding wires for now.

The instructions they come with are great. It's not difficult at all. It helps to be organized and take your time when doing it but I wouldn't say it is hard at all.

I don't have a lift either....it's not needed. If you don't have a jack and stands and don't want to get any, then yeah, grouding wires for you

Having just gotten my transgo kit installed on Sunday, the guy driving the 6mt would have to shift like a machine in order to match the instantaneous shifting you get with the transgo. No time wasted in letting off the gas, pressing the clutch, and shifting. Just put your foot down and push that lever. I can regularly chirp 2nd and 3rd now.

Do what you have to to get this thing installed!

A big +1 as this is one of the best mods i have done and is a must if you are FI.When i put the twins in i would have to shift at about 5,000 rpms and it would still hit the rev limiter cause our trans shift so slow.I can now spin thru 1st and 2nd if i want to and spin a little and chirp 3rd and 4th.I have had it on for a little over 3 years now.

$241 shipped for the kit from summit racing.

$300 for the install by a semi-local forum member
Gdup35sedan. 92 miles away from me but well worth the drive, saved me hundreds of $$$ that a shop wanted to charge me.

About $67 for 8qts of tranny fluid.
