Something weird is happening to my car.

When i close my driver side door, the driver side window does not raise or drop the 1/2 inch from the top. When this happens the door locks or the passenger side window does not work.

In order for it to start working again, i would have to open the driver side door half way, then the locks and passenger side windows work! I am so confused.

Is there something that activates when the door is half way open??

I do not think its a short or loose wire because yesterday and opened/closed the door 100 times to replicate the problem, and everything worked fine. This problem happens randomly. Maybe once every 2-3 days. If it was a short or loose connection, the would happen more often.

Could it be that the window switch can be bad? I do not even understand why everything works again when i open the door half way.
