See if someone will trade your wheels for their 19's. With a trade for my OEM 18's I paid only 250 with vredestein tires. If you wait, you can usually find good deals on here or on craigslist.

Yeah the Rays wheels really aren't cheap.. As an added package to the cars they were steeeeep, not saying by any means you should be paying 2000 for them, but if they're below 1500 with tires, you'd be getting a steal.

much appreciated for any inputs
OE 19" Rays cost would depend on condition, and what kinda rubber you'd get with them. If I had a set in perfect condition with PS2s I'd ask for $2K since the Michelins alone cost $1500 +or- a set. I just checked our MARKETPLACE and found 2 sets. One was not in great shape with rag tires for $750 and the second set was just fair quality with decent tires for $1200. That should give you some idea of what's out there.

So if I were to buy some for around $500 with some curb rashes and crappy nankang tires (about 3 months of use left), would that be a decent price?

That's not bad Dante, you might offer them less since to install you'll need to have the curb rash fixed. Somewhere in your neighborhood there should be a reasonable wheel repair shop. Be carefull, shop around some places charge way to much for their work!

So I ended up getting them for $400 but when I went to a local tire shop, they told me they couldnt put them on because the tires were shot and it was past the legal tread wear. Also they pointed out that they didnt have the tpms so now Im not sure what to do? I ended up talking to the guy for a while and he is being pretty nice about it and all. He said that if I didnt want them he would take them back. what do you guys think?
