I just met this kid in person a couple weeks ago, sold him my plenum spacer. Seemed like a nice enough guy. Funny how things change when you're not dealing with somebody face-to-face. Sorry to hear this man, hope you get everything worked out.

With Paypal Personal Payment, or Gift option, there is no fee to either sender or recipient as long as you use your Paypal balance or a bank account to fund it. If you use a credit card with the gift option then either the sender has to pay the extra fee or it is deducted from what the recipient gets. Think about it, Paypal is not just going to eat the card authorization fee that the banks charge. So if you want no fee with Gift option, don't use a credit card.

That sucks to hear man, I actually have been trying to buy some parts from some of our members aswell but I'm kinda giving up on doing so. With in the past month I inquired about Coilovers and a Camber kit, I asked the guy for some pics of his coilovers and right away he came back with "Whats the matter you don't trust me, I got other members on this site that can vouch for me." come on really.
That was a sign letting me know don't do business. I had also sent a msg inquiring about SPC camber kit one member was selling used, he replied back to me $500 shipped 6/2/10 so I was curious and asked him what kind of miles they had on them and his response suprised me " Oh I shipped those 2weeks ago". 6/09/10. Thats barely a week and kinda sketchy, I don't want to bash these members but it's like you can't trust anyone on here unless you do deal locally or buy straight from Vendors.

To me it worth it to buy items new for several reasons, I don't want to get involved with some butt head screwing members over and with suspension parts consider the wear on those pieces like bushings. Naa....I'll spend that extra $ so I won't have to make threads like this one or replace parts I already bought/installed....
