you should beat him, i ran against a supercharged cobalt ss and beat him until i shifted into 4th(2004 5at) after that he took me. He had $4k in upgrades(intake, headers, test pipes, exhaust, tune) and all i have is a pop charger, z-tube, and test pipes. The cobalt is lighter than the impala but has less power so I dont know how much of a help this is but........just go for it

 

That cuz those Cobalts have like 200hp or something stupid low, lol.
