so ive been challenged...
A guy at work just found out about me picking up the G over the weekend and now wants to run me. I may not even do it but am a bit curious i must say. hes got an 05 or 06 chevy impala ss. Its the one with a 304 or some odd horse V-8 in it.
Im pretty new to my car so if i did run him it would be a bit down the road but i dont even know if id take him or not. I have no clue how fast those things are or if it would even be a close race. Hell, i cant even find a solid/safe 0-60/ quarter mile number on my own car...
Any thoughts?

LEMME EDIT THIS POST**** (I did some more research, lol)
His car has 303hp, 323ft/lbs of torque, but it weighs a whopping 3700lbs. This is a drivers race, mang. You better shift better than his 4 speed auto tranny can, and you'll have him.

at a track (which i hope your going to)
you will more than likely Bog, the SS will tire spin (FWD) unless they have an intelligent Traction Control system if so your done. If not it's all a drivers run.
