Engine RPMs help

Hey, I'm a new owner of a 06 coupe 6mt. I drove my friend's coupe today and noticed that my coupe acted differently. When I'm revving the engine and put let off the gas and put the clutch in, the RPM needle seems to hang at the RPM I was revving at for a little and may even move up a little before moving back down. Is this normal or could this be a potential problem?

Does your friend have a lightweight flywheel? That would be my guess. If he does and you have your stock flywheel, its nothing to worry about.

no, his is stock like mine. It was weird because i thought it was normal in the G until I drove his car, which acted more like manuals I've drivin in the past. My RPMs just seem to hang there for 3-4 seconds when I press in the clutch and release the gas pedal where as his goes down right away.

^ Don't think that would have much to do with it. I think its something with the clutch not catching immediately...
