When I get my alarm installed, I'm getting remote start. Since our cars have automatic climate control, you can remote start it on hot days before you go out to the car, and cold days to get the cabin warm.

What brand is it and did you have it installed and if so was the install included in the price of 200. I have wanted to do a lcd keyfob alarm with remote start for a long time on my car and I have always been given really expensive quotes. Like 8 or 9 hundred dollars for the alarm and installation.

Viper 5901 here. Remote start my car almost every single time. Just make sure they install it correctly if you have a manual

Yeah. Most places won't install a remote start on a manual. Well.. most corporate type shops like Car Toys and such. Too much risk on their end.
