Is it true that a 4-wheel alignment on cars with Rear active steering will cost more because it can take up to an 1hr longer to align the rear wheels with RAS?

Yup, that is BS. The shop that I work for sells 4 wheel alignment for 69.99 for most vehicles, unless your car is an exotic one, i.e, prosche, etc... Some cars does not have manufactures specifications for adjusments in the rear though. Anyhow, techs basically plug a harware onto your wheels to get the range of your toe, camber, and caster. From there they make the adjustments. The more adjustments, the longer the time it would take to get it all in the green and within specs. Some shops might charge more, but it should be a standard price.
