Need help removing the airbag light

sooo i buy a g35 rebuilt title jaja,,, i go to the dealership and they wanna charge me an arm a leg for taking off the airbag safety mode thing that pops up on the navigation system and for some reason they say i have to fix the radio and the ac control unit since ofcourse went bad iam guessing from the technical service bulletins i read is due to a factory circuit board malfunction, and they wanna charge me an extra 1300.......is there anyway i can take the car off that safety mode its on , like resetting it???....help greatly appreciated thanx

I had the same problem with my 04 last sept. I did the reset thing, and it lasted for a while. Then it would come on every time I would restart the car. Finally, I broke down and took it to Infiniti. I did not realize it was still under warranty. They replaced the drivers side bolster airbag that was defective.

Never had a problem since. I just made the warranty period....otherwise it would have been close to $700 to repair/replace.
