Catalytic converter

i plan on removing my catalytic converter with a strait pipe is the oxygen sensor on the catalytic converter? or will i be able to take it off no problem without a code showing up?

There is and o2 sensor in the middle of the cat. If your new strait pipe doesn't have a spot to put the sensor then you will throw a check engine light because of the missing sensor.

All test pipes made for this car have slots for the o2 sensors. But some will require non-foulers to prevent the CEL.

Since it sounds like you're getting the pipes fabed up to do this, just have them weld a bung onto the pipe but also build in some space between where the O2 sensor would attach and the pipe. IE, extend it out some.
