I'm sure the G can't wait for you to sell it and get an owner that is worthy.

I say go for it. I have been around STI's and EVO's and I don't think the quality is bad at all. The G interior isn't so great. Take away leather seats, and what do you have?

If you are a performance oriented person, go for it. Much more fun a tunablilty.

If you like to go to meets, STI's and EVO's have more performance oriented meets at the track.

if you have to ask people here, you might as well go for it. i love the look of the g35 way more than the "power" difference you'd get with the other 2 cars. go with what you want. not others

Quote: Get what you want, plain and simple. And to the people that seem to think the G has tones of squeaks and rattles, maybe the old 03-04's did. Spend the $$$$ on an 06' like I did. Not a single complaint here, live my G. But then again, I didn't pay $15-20K for a five for a six year old car with 80K on the speedometer that had been ragged and raced by a teenager.
Ya gotta pay to play. Then again, our G's aren't Porsches either.
The G is a great car and to find a four year old EVOLUTION 9 with mileage in the 40k's maybe 30k's you'll have to pay G37 money right under 28k to get a somewhat clean.

Quote: I absolutely believe there are more EVOs and STis on the road than G35 coupes. At least around here, there are. I wouldn't drive an evo or sti simply because everyone and their moms has one.
I bet there were more G35 coupes manufactured than EVOs and STi's combined. Didn't know Reno, NV was such a happening place for rally cars. I used to live in California and there were lots of WRXs but it would be rare that I would come across another STi at an intersection. I now live in the Dallas area I was surrounded by THREE other G35 coupes at a stoplight once.

I don't base my car buying decisions on what everyone else drives though. Just sharing my experiences being an owner of both.

The Evo and Sti are not asthetically pleasing to the eye, interior or exterior. My bf drives a wrx hatchback and sure it's fast but the ride quality sucks. I guess it depends on what you want, luxury and comfort or speed and a raw a**?

Quote: I would say go for it. There way faster and lol at the interior/comfotability thing. G's interior is not all that great either. Cheap looking plastic everywhere.
Try THEY ARE, not there...

So is there anyone that actually had both cars here?

Any headaches they had face compared to the G?

Did you read the thread? There's at least two people including myself who've posted numerous times and have owned both
