Need help: Just replaced battery and car stalling occasionally

Hi all.

After 97000 miles I finally had to replace my stock battery. Over a short period of time it began starting slower and slower so I bought a new battery (650 cranking amps/800 cold cranking amps) from Costco.

I think I did everything correct: remove (-) terminal first, re-connected (-) terminal last per my Nissan mechanics instructions. He didn't mention any other things I needed to do.

So, after the install I fire her up and she roars to life and I figure everything is good. Start sounds much stronger than with the old battery.

On the next day I went out to lunch and when I came out I went to start and it started fine but the rmps just gradually/smoothly fell to zero. No bad noises or anything else, just almost sounded like when you shut the car off normally. It was a bit hard to re-start as well. Since then it probably happens once a day.

Every time this has happened I have had to give it some gas to keep it from stalling and then it is fine.

So, what's going on? What little Nissan gremlin did I run into on this install?

Thanks!

Might need to do the idle air volume learning procedure.

If you have CAI, make sure that the pipes are connected and tight. I had similar issue on my nissan where the cai fell apart and sensor was just hanging in the air

If your car is stalling there are about 193233098 other possible reasons besides the battery.
