What are you talking about?!?!? G's are super slow (especially the VQ35DE variants). Don't get me wrong I love G35's, but let's not kid ourselves here...by today's standards they are slow.

The 287hp and 270 pounds of torque looks good on paper. But in the real world, on the tracks the G35 is a pig. And even the G35 Sedan can beat the G Coupe on a regular basis.

The 6mt Rev up w/ 298hp and 260 tq does no better. I use to visit the tracks almost every week. And the G coupe does not do well.

And don't make me bring up the Irwindale track. LOL The G has NO chance there.

Thanks
1. with exhaust u will get smoked by a stock 03 G/Z 6MT with a good driver.
2. 350Z HRs are almost as fast as the 370Zs and E46 M3s.
3. When u race don't expect to keep up with faster cars out there.

350 HRs is 2007 and up. Your car was made in 2003.

In socal we have atleast 3 G35s (DE) NA that are really quick... Ironically they are all sedans.

Good guess, what gave you the hint?

The G35 is not that fast of a car, despite which transmission it has. Don't give me this 5AT/6MT BS, I've got around 300+hp/290tq at the crank and my car is slow. Nothing to brag about but still have no problem keeping up with most of the manuals I've come across even though they have a much better tranny and the 3.5FD. Yet, I know there are 6MT G's out there that are faster than me. It all depends on mods.

A 2003 5AT losing to a Nismo Z is guaranteed.

^its not the quantity of mods that makes power on the G. I can count on my ONE hand the mods that actually make power on the G. They worked on my car and others that have them. I can bring G35 5ATs that will give run to a 350Z HR...... and both are on this forum.

The day I was at the track, there were no Z's to be seen. There was an M3 and an ISF... and I smoked them both..

I agree. If your referring to my sig, I went mod crazy before I found this forum so I have made some bad choices. Could have easily spent half as much and got better results.
