Quick question.. I did some searching here and couldn't find anything. I am wanting to get one of the "switch blade" keyfobs. I believe they are Nissan branded.
My question is does that key have to be cut by the dealer or can any key maker like walmart copy my key and cut the one on the flip keyfob. Also do I need to take it to the infinitit dealership to have it programmed to work on my car? And if so how much do you guys think that would run?
Thanks in advance.

Any key maker will do fine.
You don't need it programed. You have to remove the Transponder chip form the old key and tape it into the new switchblade key case.

Thank you so much!
By chance do you know where I can find the one that you showed in the pic?

I got it from ebay. This is just a "case" You have to take apart your old remote and put the "internals" into the new case. Also, you have to remove the "chip" and put that into the new case.

I bought the same flip key from the same seller. It took me a while to understand what exactly I needed to do. But, its very simple. All you do is remove the transponder chip and remote from your old fob and insert them onto the flip key. Here is a link for visual assistance.
