So I recently bought a g35 . It's used has 24k miles on it... I was thinking about taking the infiniti lettering off the back. My question is will this look bad because of the discoloration? From the sun weather w/e else causes it. Please let me know thanks!

it looked bad on my car, but my car was an 04 OB and in need of some tlc on the paint. take off one letter and see if the discoloration is bad, worse comes to worse you use some kind of adhesive and put it back on the car

Debadge it. If you have an silhouettes left after your debadge, you can easily buff them out with a good buffer and some other products.

I think the debadged trunk gives a much more clean feel to the car. Take a look!

I took my g35 lettering off...just wash the trunk down and then use a compound and some sealant and it will look as if it was never there

I took my badges off and it was bad so I got it repainted. Gotta love the clean booty!

I think it looks best with just the Mt. Fuji. I took all mine off and the trunk looks a little bare to me.

I did everything but Mt. Fuji on my OB coupe and I love it. I had messed up the "G35" part but luckily I have a buddy that works for Herbs paint and fixed it for me.

Clay bar and wax should help with any shadow left over
