So I took my coupe into the dealership. I was experiencing some issues with it. As matter of fact I had a small laundry list. First issues were. For some reason when I washed my car or it rained. My reverse lights would come on, and basically stay on until it dried. It had something to do with the passenger side near the battery. What I don't know. The dealer told me it was because of my idpm. He also told me this was the reason I was getting a code of p1124. Which is a throttle sensor solenoid short.

I am also having a problem with my ac. My compressor is not kicking on. He 1st said this was because of my idpm. I have a aftermarket double din. I was thinking it was because of the bs metra kit installed my the previous owner. I've done my research and checked the numerous problems it could be. Like the in cabin sensor. That was plugged in. So he replaced my idpm, and still no ac compressor. Prior to bringing it to the dealer. I jumped a wire with a switch to compressor to make sure it was good. Filled it up with freon and used it that way. Driving with it was fine. But when stopped at idle for about 5 mins. Freon would shoot of out the drivers side wheel well. Like as if I had a nitrous purge kit. So the dealer runs some test on the ac system. He tells me the compressors no good. Well how can that be. With a flick of a switch it comes on. I thought if a compressor wasn't good. It wouldn't come on at all. This puzzles me.

The other issues I had them check out was my passenger side window. Infiniti themselves had replaced a window regulator on that side a little over a year ago. Now that window when I roll it down all the way. Leaves about less than quarter of it up. He said it because I need to have the window regulator and whatever else that controls thewindow replaced. Granted the window is aftermarket glass. But wouldn't my glass just have to be adjusted? I kknow the parts were replaced because infiniti told me. But he said they won't cover them because its been over a year. Bull****. They have had my car since Thursday of last week. Ive had g37x loaner since. That's the only thing that's been good out of this whole ordeal. I'm waiting to here from him tomorrow to see what he says now. Because when I asked him if they tested the ac controller or the hvac unit. He was speechless.


So how could they have even tested the whole system. And forgot about those things. He trying to say it was the jumper wire to the compressor that ruined it. But the thing hasn't been coming on since day 1. I just put that on to see if it worked. And it still comes on. Just not by the ac controls. I also need a passenger side motor mount replaced. They want 475.00 on top of the 895.00 for the idpm. Basically what I'm looking for some imput on this. From mechanics, techs, or whoever. Because this just doesn't seem right. Thanks.
