Please provide me with some more information...

Do you lose control of your throttle when the lights come on?

Do you have any CEL? If so run them

Does it go away for a little if you turn off your car and start it again?

Have you done any modifications to your car?

The first time this happened to you was anything alter or change previous to this?

Let me know, you can PM me if you want.

Chris

yea could be as simple as your tires just being worn out. not that your sliding, but the computer is reading your front/rears not spinning on its calculated ratio.

Ok im about to put on a new set of wheels/tires. I got the Varrstoens staggered 19's on a 12 offset. About to head out the door to go get them. The rears are pretty worn.

No vibs but the rear tires are pretty worn and im 35 series in front with a 30 series in the rear so i can see how there would be a difference in the front/rear spinning ratio.

yea there are a lot of threads about vdc because of just tires. those who purposely changed the tire sizes just ended up always turning vdc off.

i had that problem when i changed my rears and didn't change the fronts, even tho i didn't change tire size. the difference in tread wear was enough to screw with the computer. wasn't in normal driving tho, just when i took turns pretty hard.

Yeah ive read up on quite a bit of vdc slip abs info. It seems like almost anything can throw it off. Well see what happens when i get the new wheels and tires put on. Hopefully that does it.

Post your exact tire sizes. If they aren't the same diameter front and rear, it causes an error which is what you might be seeing

The lights came on when I had 285/45/20 on the rears. I took them off and replaced the stock 19 inch forged rays which measure 255/40/19 on the rears and the fronts are 235/35/19. The lights are still on. Any help? Thanks

That's like an inch and a half of stagger, might be to much. Stock is less than half of that.

I was assuming that by putting the stockies back on that the lights would turn off, but it didn't. Dealer said because it was a hard code that they wanted me to pay $130 to turn off. Any idea?
