Sunroof scratching/creaking

Whenever i try to slide my sunroof all the way open itll creak and sometimes get stuck and i notice the top of the glass by the end is getting scratched and the black trimming on the glass is also getting like cut off.

Does anyone else have this problem and how do i fix it? Covered under warranty?

Thanks!

Had you done a SEARCH you would have found this answer....clean everything with WD40/rag that should make it work better and lessen the noices you're hearing. I do this about every 90 days and I don't have any issues with my sunroof....

Alright so after sprayign it down with wd 40, it worked for a little bit. Then i recently tried it again and BAM! its like cracking and sounds like the sunroof is breaking and gets stuck too.

I honestly seached up sunroof and didnt find anything relaxed other than like rattles and noises.

Do i need to lube the sunroof parts or what, because spraying it with wd40 only worked for like a day or so...

You probably need to lube up the tracks that the glass slides on, use something like white lithium grease.
