Just bit the bullet and got a G35. Deposit is down, will be driving 4 hours to pick it up.

3 cars sold while I was looking at them, 4 others turned out to be wrecks, I finally have a deposit on one I like. If all goes well Ill be a new owner on monday.

It's got really bizarre carbon on the headlamps, probably stickers?

they're eyelids. makes the 03-06 looks like the 07-09 headlights. you got the brembos, thats nice. enjoy the car

Check for wrecked panels, or signs of engine mods.

Have the dealer contact the previous owner and get the OK for you to contact him/her?

How about a 1 or 2 year extended warranty, just in case....
I bought a 3 year NISSAN warranty when I bought my 04 used with 44K miles on her.

Thanks guys! Carfax/autocheck came out squeeky clean, it got a 95 out of 94 on auto check.
SO no accidents, no repo/theft, just we wee bit of carbon fiber to elude to missuse :P

Im pretty good at spoting body work, and ill give it a real good look over before hand. The airfilter plastic seems to look too clean which obviously would point to an intake. I've really got to see it on person though. I went to see some really rough cars that were advertised as mint already, so im pretty weary about it.

SVTCOBRA, did you end up needing that warranty or has it just been for peace of mind so far?

Nice make sure you change the spark plugs or at least pull the coils right away to see if you have leaking valve covers (very common) then you won't have to shell out $500+ to fix it.
