guess what, I changed my oil today, and only got out like 2 qts, i put in 5 qts synthetic like every 5k miles, i do drive it hard sometimes, but mostly not. Also my check engine light does not come on (for some of you it does when the oil is low).

Should I be WORRIED or is this normal? should i put like 2 qts in every 3-4k miles and forget about this issue?

No using oil between changes isn't normal. Don't you think 5K miles between changes is a little excessive? With luck you still have a warranty and I'd take your '06 to Infiniti for the OC test.
