Can someone tell me where the Fuel level sensor is located? Short version of the story is I was getting 6 mi/gal & MIL, took car in, dealer said my headlight alteration was cause of all problems (blinking clear corner), I stopped them from fixing anything because they wanted me pay for it, picked up car and MIL was no longer on and mileage returned to normal (fixed from an ECU reset they say), just yesterday I noticed a 4 inch cut in my rear passenger carpeting. Is this where the fuel level sensor can be accessed? They say they didn't touch the fuel sensor at all, I want to know if this is the smoking gun I need to prove they did. If you understood that run-on and know where this sensor is, please advise. Thanks in advance.
