you can get them from any nissan dealer or pm tony or rick @riverside Stillen also sells one for less than the oem tube. Here's a few links for you.

first off if you have an 03-05 model or you have an Automatic you can upgrade your intake box to a manual intake box from an 06-07 these have a larger velocity stack which smooth the air out better into your intake tube.

and a 5/16 plenum spacer should give you the power that is claimed anywhere in the area of 10 hp give or take depending on other mods.

i have tried all the different intakes and with a cold air intake you will get some lag due to long tubing, but will gain some couple HP but not enough to make a difference but you will take the risk of getting hydro lock from water getting in the filter.

now with a ram air you wont have the lag but to me the sound is better but you will get much more heat soak.... i would recomend onethat dips down lower into the engine like fujita ram air intake which is what i have ended up with because i love the sound and i really dont notice much heat soak

anyways it is really your choice

as well if you like showing off your car a little heat soak wont hurt if you want under your hood to be a little flashy

hope this helped

Confused about what? 06 revup airbox with a ztube and maybe a k&n filter is the best power setup. Everything else is essentially for show and sound.

Stillen, JWT, Pop,Fujita, K&N, Paper filter, Long, short, carbon, plastic, polished,

I have a KN filter on my mustang and ducati but not sure it's worth the money considering it takes me sixty seconds to remove the filter on either vehicle. I am just going with a z tube since it's the least expensive and if I dont like it. It will be easy to sell.

Like I said all those other brands are just to make the look and sound different, few will give you any power and many are likely to make you lose power at least at the low end. Go ahead with the ztube as long as you aren't expecting anything from it. I can guarantee you won't feel any power difference because there will essentially be none, just a bit of change in tone. If all you want is power and you aren't doing it for the sake of doing it, skip the intake. The engineers did a good job when they made ours and it doesn't restrict the power of the engine.

Thanks for the info. I am going to put one on because I like the sound of the car. If it will enhance the stock sound, it's worth it. I can't stay a noob for too much longer!

Good plan, I decided a minimal loss in power was worth the sound of my jwt popcharger.

From my expierience the metal intake tubes get a lot hotter than the plastic ones. Can you imagine the engine cover, battery cover, and intake air port being metal? You wouldn't be able to get close to the engine. I have known people to use the heat rap on there intakes but it takes away from the appierence of the under hood compartment. Hope this helps?
