How To: Search
I've been noticing a lot of people being told to search and while this may be fine for some who know how to properly use the search function it doesn't help the forum newbs who don't. I just posted a replying to some one who was saying the search function sucks educating him on how to properly search. So I'll repost it here and maybe it can be a sticky somewhere where it will get enough visibility to help bring an end to the many unnecessary threads and go search replies. So here it is and let me know what you think.
I'll help you guys out with searching. When you click on search click onto Advanced Search, type your what you're looking for and just below the box there is an option where you change it to Search Titles Only, next scroll down to where it says Sort results by and choose Relevancy. This should give you much better results and get rid of all the unneeded threads. Here is a pic of how your advanced search page should look, note the red boxes are the keys to a proper search. Also make sure on the right where it lists the different forums here you have it set to Search all open forums. Hope this helps.

I agree with what you're saying, but the Market Place interface has changed within the last couple of months. If you happen to click on a result that lies in the market place it won't take you to the actual thread you selected. I'm just noticing it since we got the upgrade and I think that's what some of the people are talking about.
