I think that is normal depending on the year of your car. Did you get results?

You could just disconnect the battery for a while.

I think I found the problem. My check engine light bulb is dead? Hmmm.. Did Costa Mesa Infinti pull the bulb out? Never noticed it until now.

Anyone know where the check engine light is located on the gauge clusters?

I'm not sure if there is any difference or not, when i was driving down the highway and punched it, it seemed a little more responsive

Yet but that resets everything including the radio and probably the homelink and memory seats.

Anyone know where the check engine light is located? I can't find it on the dash.

You could do that but you will have to program everything. Word on the street is that unplugging battery also resets the Transmission memory ecu? Anybody know about that?

Sorry I'm new to this whole ecu thing. So are you saying that this will make a difference in the 6mt as well? I have an 03 and drive aggressively but I wouldnt mind trying this out!

Yes, but it is more noticeable with the 5AT. I believe you have to be in neutral with emergency brake. It's worth a shot!?

I did it, not sure if i felt a difference or not. I thought it felt like it shifted smoother, but i have a manual tranny so i cant see how it would change the way it shifts. anyway, theres my results. lol

If anything you and other manual drivers might just get a small improvement in throttle response...I dunno, really doubt its anything too significant though.

Thats why the car IS NOT turned on. The key is set to on without actually turning the engine on.

Guys, unless you've recently done some mod that increased air flow (exhaust, hfc's/tp's, spacer, headers, intake), don't expect any significant changes after resetting your ecu.
