Help with gas needle

Help with gas needle

anybody with this problem...After fill up the tank i went to start the engine...as i start the engine the gas needle went up really fast pass the full mark.. didnt stop... and fall on the other side...now i have gas that will last me for months...so i took the cluster out and move the needle to ist orginal place..well now everytime, at the start of the engine my gas needle will jump up and down..it will spike from E to F real fast...then down to where the gas level is at.....other than that the needle work

wow , hmm you could of searched on this subject a little harder and find a thread that has many people report the same probem . ill get back to you
