not sure if anyone else has had this issue, but when i keep my stereo at 25 or above, it shuts off after a bit. but when I keep it under 24, it works fine. im wondering if this has anything to do to the grounding? so a grounding kit might help with this problem?

Never experienced this on the G before but my volume rarely goes above 20. It sounds like a safety cutoff, most amplifiers have this feature to prevent them from overheating.

might be overdriving the system just enough to make it shut off.

I never get mine past 20, but then again I might be getting old...lol

 

sounds like its getting too hot to me. my amp in my first car did it all the time i used to drive it hard
