I'm thinking instead of having mine rebuilt just to go with a new 09 or higher since it's only about 1000 dollars more. For some reason the way I drive I don't think a rebuilt will last long. It's either that or take a gamble on a used one but I don't know where to find one cheap.

Please let me know whats the best year to get or highest year I can get.

 

GCode, if you have it rebuilt with upgraded internals by a good trans shop it should be stronger/better than the newest OE units!

09 Z transmission?? isnt that a 370z??

 

If you have an auto, I doubt it would fit and the ECU would not work with it.

If you have a manual, there's no point. It's a 6 speed.
