Ahhhhh! The sweet sound of.....

Of nothing. I did the diy for the rear axle click issue. Up until yesterday I started getting tired of driving my car. I hated the stupid noise that was getting worse by the week. I kept putting it off.
The whole thing wasn't bad took about 3 hours cuz I was taking my time and I installed the bolts backwards on the first side I did. So I had to remove them, flip around and re install them. Lol.
Now there is nothing but sweet hks exhaust notes coming from the rear. I love the car again

Congrats!! It always feels good to take of issues yourself doesn't it? And think of how much money you just saved. Might be enough for a new mod, polished plenum maybe??

What type of grease did you use? I heard the one that the TSB recommends (or the manual recommends) is the molykote, but that costs like $170 per bottle.

Obviously the recommended grease didn't last that long so I tried this other stuff and if the click ever comes back I have a can of it left over and it's not a hard job to do. 6 bucks at pep boys for the can

I think i'll need to do this. I'm getting a fairly random click coming from the rear pass side. Seems to only click (very faint) when I accelerate, but not all the time. I'm pretty sure I have this issue.

Here my concern, I'm still under warranty, but, I have aftermarket brakes... will the dealership give me grief about it, since, the TSB instructs to remove the caliper and rotor?

^Thats definitely the axle click. I would take it in and see what they say since every dealer is different.
