clutch pedal issue but the not sticking prob

I was driving around one day and it was super hot out. While in traffic i noticed that the last inch or so of pedal play before its all the way on the floor got a bit squeaky. After a few minutes of playing with it in bumper to bumper traffic i then noticed that there was no preassure with the first inch of travel when i go to push it in. However the next day it was fine. Should swap out the fluid to DOT4? Where should i start looking for this problem?

Had the same problem in FL traffic going to and from work from waht i read the problem is the rubber clutch line gets too hot and stretches out a bit. What I did was simply change my line to a steel braided one and the problem went away. good luck

It could also be your clutch slave. I have this issue now and just ordered a new one. They are like 50 bucks
