I did search google and the forum. But i need a DIY on removing the stock spoiler, need to get it painted soon.

take off the fabric trunk trim piece, there are lots of push in clips holding it on. under the trim is 3 screws (I think or was it 4) which hold the spoiler on, it might be a bit stuck and you will have to give it a tug to remove since the weather striping tape is also holding it in place.
