The Brembo rotors are specific as far as I know. They are typically a little larger and have a greater contact surface.

You can a set of excellent aftermarket rotors for the Brembo setup - Centric Premium rotor blanks. You can also get them heat-treated for a little more durability. I am running them now on my Brembo '04.5 and they feel exactly like OEM (I am also running OEM pads) at a fraction of the cost of OEM.
Many places carry them, like tirerack.com and rockauto.com. Fronts are ~$60-70/rotor.

Gary, DBA's are definitely nice, but they are pretty pricey compared to Centric rotors, which are the basis for Stoptech stuff. OP stated he wasn't concerned about brand or performance, just price. And, FYI, our vendors are good, but Rockauto is as dirt cheap as I've found on the internet.

Good thread... i am also interested in upgrading my rotors to the slotted or drilled. I also am on stock Brembo Calipers... any issues with upgrading to brembo rotors and run on brembo calipers?
