G on 18's

Just purchased my G a few months ago and i decided to put on some 18's onto the G and it didn't turn out to how i expected it to look. The wheels look a bit small and doesn't quite match the whole car itself. I was thinking about adding some 6/10 tailight overlays and getting my windows tinted and maybe dropping the ride height. I need some suggestions or comments on the g and how to make it look better.

Yea those particular 18s are look pretty small. I would highly recommend going with 19s.

18s are too small for ours cars IMHO. dont do overlays, smoked tails are FTL, your car will look 100x better with a drop, clear corners, projectors, and diff rims. you should def also look into getting a kit.

everything
lipped wheels always look smaller than they really are becuz the spokes dont go all the way to the edge giving the wheel a smaller look.

On the bright side your OEM brakes dont look abnormally small with 18s....

The rim design has a lot to do with how big it really looks. The stock 7-spoke 18" rims look great imo. Your spokes definitely look shorter due to the well defined central hub design.

I say lower the car and the wheels will look fine. To me 18's say race car b/c you want some meat on the ground and a decent amount of tire wall for the hard curves.

Hey we all make mistakes, had he gone to a few meets and done some research before he jumped on those wheels he wouldn't have bought them....noob error. Our rides need at least 19" wheels to look really good, a slight drop and some JDM clears will vastly improve his ride....

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone! I will definitely drop the ride height and get some jdm clear corners and as for rims i might just keep them for a while then sell them and get nicer looking 19's.

18's are too small for a g35. The best sizes for our cars are 19-20". But that's just my opinion.
