What I did was jack the front end, quickly took it apart, regreased the sliding pins, metal contact points and the backing of the pads with a ton of grease, then reassemble. It seemed to correct the problem instantly. Good luck.

Btw, come on now, you spend good money and a few hours doing your brakes you couldn't spend another $4 and 20-30mins to bleed them with quality brake fluid? IMO EBC greens suck badly. Had them on my sister's Subaru 2.5RS. Never again lol.
seems like you had the same problem as me.. regular grease is good for the sliding pins or should i use something else?

and ive never bled brakes before ive changed pads and rotors quite a few times but never attempted a fluid change.. usually leave that for the pros

the first time I did brakes I used hi temp grease with no problems. What you should use is a proper synthetic brake grease. Buy a tube if possible so you can use a good amount on the tabs, sliders and pad shims. The synthetic stuff is supposed to protect the rubber boot parts of the piston. That being said even the synth stuff has "petroleum distallates" so it's all practically the same.

As far as bleeding brakes, it's super easy. Look up DIY on it and have a partner to press the brake while you open and close the brake bleeder. Don't let the level drop below L. Takes less than 30mins if you're taking it slow. If you have more questions feel free to pm or ask.
