yeah...i would think that that is a good idea...im going to wait until the APC one comes out...looks a lot nicer...heard some horror stories about the crawford anyhow....
the major question is with all the mods im doing to the air flow in this car (p/c, ztube, plenum, y-pipe, and possibly headers), does it pay to get a better exhaust? Am i going to see significant gains if I replace the exhaust after all that other work has been done? I like the stock (z-tube) sound...kinda throaty...i dont want to sound like a rice/fart can..hehe...i like the ALMOST, but not quite v-8 sound it has right now...how many horsepower you think i can expect to see with the addition of the exhaust after all those other mods? i would expect if it is a significantly restrictive exhaust, then i should be seeing atLEAST 10-15hp cause i will be freeing up that last bit of the pathway, so all the other mods will be working at their peak...
i guess that leads to the question of can i have too much flow? i know the engine needs a certain amount of backpressure, i dont want to approach that 'diminishing returns' curve, so to speak

May I ask what horror stories you have heard about the Crawford plenum? I have had two (a V2 and a V5). I changed for cosmetic reasons only. I have had no lissues, nor have I read about anyone else having any issues with the Crawforrd. IMO, it's the best bang for the buck out there. A truly great product, developed by guys who really care.
