Not really, I change my dd about once a year. I get bored with cars no matter how good they are. Here is what I'm going to order.

Go for it!! CTS is great looking and probably better quality.
I've been very disappointed in the quality of my G.

I've never cared for BMW's. I know they are a quality automobile, but they're just not for me.
I'm actually a true GM guy. My Infiniti is one of the few times I've strayed from GM cars/trucks. I fell in love with the looks of the G, and it's performance and quality has impressed me. Again...I've followed the CTS from a concept car for many years all the way through development, and in person, the car is stunning.
Much better than any pictures. I know it's angular styling is not for everyone, but it does appeal to me. The interior is in a different league than my G, but the new G37's are right there with it. I wish it had the additional horsepower of the G37.
One last note on the BMW. It also has a 6 cylinder, but it's a straight six, and it has a Turbo, but even with forced induction, it has less horsepower. I prefer a V six, like our G35's, and the CTS.

As I said in my post above I had a 2005 and it was a dependable ride. The difference in the interiors are night and day. The coupes interior is a hugh improvement and fits perfectly with the angularity of the exterior. The coupe is impressive inside and out.
Congratulations...I hope you've owned a Black car before. I've got two and they do require alot of work to keep them clean and shiny.

No matter how great a picture of a car is, a car will always look better in person. The pictures of the CTS make that car look like trash, but I'm sure it's more polished in person.. I still wouldn't do it, because like you're a GM fan, I'm all for import. Never had any other car (including all the cars my family drives) GM/Ford. Not saying I don't respect some of the stuff they're capable of putting out, it's just not my flavor.

I'd keep the G over the CTS any day, but that trade-in value they gave you is pretty generous especially considering G's are relatively cheap nowadays.

On a side note, that Z06 is absolutely gorgeous. That color is just... *drool*
