Re: squeeking in engine bay?
Is it in near the fan/alternator belts?
Is it noticeable in the morning more when the car is cold?
If yes to both then I have a similar withing and have gone to the dealer 3 times without much success. Thet keep greasing the belts saying it will fix it

Re: squeeking in engine bay?
I have a cold related squeal in the very front. When I put the car in gear (AT), the idle drops down and it squeals each time I feather the throttle (backing out). . Grubbs put in a new belt, made no change whatsoever. I hope its a pulley.. Will have to make a few more trips to service to find it I guess. Kind of embarrasing until it warms up.

Re: squeeking in engine bay?
thanks for the replies guys.
yes i feel they're coming from the pullies/fan area.. right smack in the front, underneath the induction piece.
it does happen when cold, but later the sound removes itself when i drive for awhile.. however! it reappears when i am at idle for awhile.
i guess i'll have to wait on a bit..
