Ok I been searching around about the valvebody upgrades. And I came across the Transgo valvebody upgrade for the g35.

GTM Motorsports offer you the Valvebody Upgrade and the Transgo upgrade, whats the difference and why is the transgo so much cheaper? Now b4 anybody jumps on me and say use the search bar to find other threads, I have done that. my only question is what is better when Im going FI on a 5AT. the full Valvebody upgrade or can just go with the Transgo?

Transgo is a shift kit/VB upgrade, I think the GTM might something super crazy race care type thing. transgo only costs like 250 or whatever

 

so do you think that if I get the transgo kit it would b enough to preserve the life of my transmission when i go FI?

of coarse i would get a transmission cooler and some other things to try to keep it as cool as possible.

 

GTM's price includes installation as well. It averages around $500 to have it installed at any shop. Its the same Transgo VB kit.

but the gtm ppl say they perform a few extra tweaks to the vb if you let them do it in house. anyone know what extra tweaks they do to it?
