Piece of **** keyed my car

I went to a infiniti partnered bodyshop after work and they put some light with multiple vertical lights to confirm there is no dent. They said it could have been some lighting when I took the photo. They also said it wasn't a key too but something else. Either way though I'm going to be doing the whole quarter they convinced me spot painting will be very noticable. I'm just looking right now for some places to do the job by next week.

How much is your deductible? Just claim vandalism. Someone keyed the entire passenger side of my dad's 07 Camry, his deductible is $250 so he just took it to a body shop and the guy there added it to the estimate so my dad ended up paying nothing. But I'm pretty sure the deductible for premium cars is $500.

I feel for ya... This happened to me last summer, except they keyed the entire passenger side of the car, from the fender to the rear bumper, making sure to make a mark on my tail lights as well... They were also kind enough to throw in a side of slashed tires. Unfortunately the only way to get it looking like new is to repaint the entire thing, and more unfortunately it won't *quite* look the same anymore since it's near impossible to match paint 100%. You can try to spot paint it.. I looked into it (and decided to just claim insurance and have them pay for a complete paint job minus the deductable) but after watching this video it makes me wanna try it out because this guy does it perfectly..
Maybe there's a place in your area that can do this and you can save some money, otherwise a full repaint will have to do.. And either way I don't think claiming it will even be worth it because the cost to repaint that panel is less than your deductible.
On the bright side, you don't have to pay $2500 to repaint one side and replace slashed tires like I did (I still cry a little every time I think about it, and it's made me super anxious and **** about parking anywhere now which really sucks actually.. Kind of like people with OCD and really hate it but they can't control it).. Best of luck and sorry again that it happened...
