Talking Finally some real mods!!

So I've been in Iraq for the last 4+ months, and I've made some pretty ok money, ant I figured it was time I got some actual mods. I've had my G since Feb. 09, it's a 05 OB 6mt fully loaded w/nav, my Ray's are powder coated semi-gloss black, tails are color match tinted, and a Z-tube. I decided it was time for some of the basic go faster goodies, I got an ACT HD clutch and street lite flywheel (16lb), MD MREV2, MD 5/16th Iso spacer, and MD Shockwave TDX2 exhaust. Still to come are Berk HFC, and a ECU re-flash. I got everything from Injected Performance, not only because I personally know them, but their prices are just awesome. So a big thanks to Ryan, and Greg they helped mr in every aspect, and being 7000+ miles away they just made it simple. Anyway I just thought I would share...

Welcome back, and glad you made it back safe. List looks good to me, couple suggestions though.

Ditch the HFC's and get MD ART pipes. Followed by an Osiris tune, since your A/F will be off. Get some sways, obviously I'm partial to MD products , but Stillen and Hotchkis are very good too. A GT Spec strut bar would be nice too.

A shorter geared differential will give your car a little more pep.

I haven't made it back yet, still have a few more weeks left. I already have the GTSpec, I don't know if I want TP or not heard they have more drone compaired to HFC. Hal at IP is going to do my tune on their dyno, after everything and the re-flash.
Thanks for the support....

These are just my BPU mods, I plan on having IP do a full built short block and a BIG single.

Almost back thats good to hear. Whats your mos? Thinking about dropping a request to hit up afghanistan and make some money. I think you just need to ditch all that and buy a used turbo off here or a supercharger. Most s/c are plug and play and you will be happier in the end.

I'm AF I do F-16 maintenance...Nah, I like my lil mod list, but I am just gonna keep it simple for now. I'm bout to buy a house when I get back so I don't wanna go to crazy right now. I don't like S/C it's gonna be one BIG single turbo like a T-76 or something sick like that.

No problem. Read up on the ART pipes and I'm sure you will want them. Decreases drone, zero rasp, MotorDyne quality, huge power gains.

Found out some wonderful news, it's going to take 6 to 8 weeks to get my MD shockwave. I guess MD is out of the material they use to make them. Kinda sucks I was hoping to be able to put all my parts on soon as I got back. Oh well, **** happens.
