Question Can coilovers be a smoother ride springs

Currently on my 03 g coupe I have 350z tein s techs and tokico d spec shocks and I am sitting on 20's. The ride is as smooth as can be with my setup but I'm wondering if coilovers would be about the same or smoother. I have my shocks on 4 which is kinda stiff because anything lower just bounces to much.

Also what coilovers do you guys suggest if you think they would be better.

From my experience, springs are smoother than coilovers. Coilovers are usually stiffer since the springs on the coils are smaller to provide adjustability.

From my previous experience, the lower you go the more comfortable coilovers are vs. spring. If you want to just mildly drop your car then springs will be more comfortable. If you want to go 1.5 or lower ( example ) then coilovers would normally be more comfortable.
