Need some help guys, I have searched but have no found any definite answers. Basically whenever I run my heater I get a burning smell coming from the engine bay, smells like burning rubber. I have checked all the belts and nothing seems to be rubbing. Any input or help would be greatly appreciated thanks guys

I had the same problem when ever I drove the car at highway speeds I would smell burnt rubber. I check my belts and they had cracks on them so I changed them, and the smell went away.

PCV Valve
I had the same problem but I noticed mine immediately after I had installed my after market Intake. I have the Takeda Intake system on my 06 Coupe and when I installed it the rubber hose closest to the throttle bodyand connected to the PCV Valve can become kinked. I took it in the dealership and they pinpointed exactly what the problem was. I went to my local NAPA and picked up the same gauge heater hose and installed a longer piece and the smell went away. Hope this helps.
