I would just put that money on another car that is faster, not even worth it in my opinion

You can put money on a faster car, but a g with any one of those swaps will most likely murder that faster car, big difference between a stock car and car with a swap in it.

I agree with this for the most part. If you're planning on building up a car just to go fast, there are better cars to use for it... such as a 350/370Z if you like the Nissan FM setup. They're cheaper than a G35 to buy, and are lighter... thus can be faster than a G35 without requiring as much power to get it to the same level as a comparably fast G35.

Plus... your car has an auto tranny. If speed is your priority and you're not planning on using forced induction, you'd be better off starting with a manual transmission so you at least get the most bang-for-the buck out of your motor upgrades in terms of performance and power to the wheels.

It would be difficult to formulate any advice on this topic that is more arbitrary than what you just said.

Very limited on power when dealing with the automatic transmission. Get a 6MT if you want large gains.

EDIT: just noticed Partyman66 already said it.
