haha, think u misread procharger with popcharger. Procharger is a company that makes superchargers for Z's and G's along with many other cars. Btw, did they do any work on the exhaust or tuning? Should see closer to 400 with full exhaust including cats and headers.

I think it was kind of stupid to use the ProCharger. Isn't that the one where like 10 350Z's had their engines blow up and now there is a class action suit against ATI?
They installed a Nismo exhaust and they just painted the wheels black....they usually just repaint the wheels when they are on a tight budget. Seems like the show is more about getting massive power out of the car than anything else which seems kinda ricey to me. Any noob can get massive power out of the car....the key is to make it well-rounded with handling and braking to match the power!
I love the G's exhaust note, but it is technically very different from the way an exhaust "should" sound but I don't mind. As soon as I hear that exhaust note/tone, I know it's a G!!!

Yeah, they did upgrade the suspension, but they left the brakes alone. With a supercharged G, at the very least, I'd upgrade the pads to track pads than paint the wheels black and put on some riced out stickers.
But yeah, they should definitely show that hottie in the orange dress way more often. Obviously she doesn't know what she's talking about and she's just like the "glory girl" that you take a ride with after your car has been modded, but I'd rather watch her than the knuckleheads referring to the exhaust as a popcorn machine.

Not to flame or anything but how can giving a car alot of power be ricey? Ricey is usually defined by cheap and extreme looking aerodynamics and exterior looks. I think its good that they took care of giving the guy a supercharger since it is one of the most expensive things you an do to a car. The guy can do suspension mods on his own. BTW, your username seems familiar. Did you used to have a TL-S?

ColdFusion, you're right I was being too harsh. I should have used the term rice. But my point was that any n00b can make a car go fast. It's important to make suspension and brakes that can match the power to create a very well-rounded modded car, and if you have mad hp without the brakes and suspension to back it up, you just end up making yourself look like a noob.

umm - I don't think any "n00b" can make this car fast AND reliable, so that's not a very valid statement - this is one of the hardest platforms to extract reliable power out of while keeping the costs relatively managable...
