delayed starts...

hey guys, i have owned my 05 g coupe for about 2 months.
and all of a sudden i am getting these horrible delayed starts. to the point were it seems like it wont start. i went to pep boys to get the battery check and they informed me that my battery was fine, then i went to the next step, i had the car running and unplugged my battery to see if it was the alternator and again no problem there, so i went to my friend at nissan and there he plugged a e-rev reader to the battery and starter to see what is giving me this problem. so the results were that my battery is fine, alternator is fine but my starter is lagging. so i take her to a close by infiniti dealership to see if they could help me and i showed them the printed out slip from the reader and the service manager said that its a common thing and the reader is wrong and its just the battery... so the problem i am having is i dont know if he is just trying to dick me over and wait till my power train warranty is up. any help guys?
