Powdercoat my aftermarket rims

I have 20" black with chrome lip rims. Im getting tired of black on chrome and want to black out the entire rim. I don't have a back up set of rims. Also, I dont know the quality on my rims too much. Is it worth powdercoating aftermarket rims? Are there any risks?

This is what it looks like now:

Thanks

Just like some dude just asked about pc'ing his cast 17" stockers, some people with say not too. There have been incidents on my350 that a dudes wheel cracked, and broke. So what you need is to find out the quality, who makes your rims?

that seems foolish to paint aftermarket rims. the point of aftermarket is a color scheme. like you bought those for how they looked...now you wanna change your aftermarkets? id say buy a new set...
