Lets see....

They get it for free, breaking your stuff to get it for free....and they go pawn it or sell it for some cash. Seems pretty simple to me.

to the OP...that does sux! My fiances Ford Edge got the window smashed yesterday, they took an empty bag that looked like a purse. It costed me $200 to replace the window the broke.

Let the insurance look at it and write up an estimate. My guess is that even if they write it up to replace with the factory unit, it will be just as expensive as you aftermarket avic. Let them write you a check and take it where you want to have the aftermarket unit installed. (I bet a factory head unit lists for over a grand)

yeah probably will go with a jdm dd kit with ac controller.
i think riverside sells them for 350 for both.

might jump on that. but the pioneer avic z3 is pimp. its discontinued, so its going to be hard to replace that. i had a 100gb hard drive in there with all my songs etc. thats 1800 dollars i wont see again.

That was the most professional job I've ever witnessed, no broken glass on the seats they just removed what they wanted and didn't destroy anything else. I'm not sure an alarm would have stopped these thieves, they're good! Hope your insurance covers enough to replace what was stolen....sorry this happened to you! Watch places like Craig's List your stuff may show up....

Sorry bro, i thought you just left the windows down on accident when i saw the first pic lol. I know the center console is easy to detach, its just held on by a few clips. But that job looks professional.

Rare base model. Just like mine. Cloth seats, no moon roof, no heated seats or autodim mirror. Your headunit was probably the only luxury compared to other coupes. That really sucks man.

if there is no glass on the inside then that means it was broken out with either the door open or from the inside out... did u take ur car to anyone that held it? did anyone have access to your keys in the last month or so? cus its really easy to make a key just for enrance... sounds like a inside job to me or maybe someone has been scounting ur ride. Ive been jacked b4 but i always have OEM radio for that reason, but with me they try and take my cars. GSR sti ect but i have 4-5 kill swiches dont get far hahah I would recomend a Viper alarm system $800.00 with pager
