anything wrong with using wheel spacers?

I've had Ichiba V2 (20mm front and 25mm rear) with my OEM 19" Rays on my G for four months and haven't had any problems.
IMO, with most things in the world -- it's all about how you do it. Do it right, or intelligently, or thoroughly -- and you'll be fine. Do it wrong, or poorly, or half-assed -- you're in trouble.

Don't buy off-brand spacers, stick with the well known brands like Kics or Ichiba. The extra money you spend on the quality brand versus the ebay brand is well worth it.
When you are saying "extended lugs" do you mean extended studs??? I'm confused... Lugs and studs are being used in the same context, but they are two completely different things.
^^ If you go through recent threads in the wheels.tires section you'll see the consensus is it's not safe to do that. Some have suggested that "maybe' a 3 mm spacer would be OK (ttrank) but to be safe you need extended lugs with any spacers.
