^+1...I sit in traffic in Florida heat for about an hour a day with AC on full blast. It sucks for mileage, but then again, we didn't buy this car for mileage did we!?

it was 114 in L.A. yesterday, i used my ac all day, only thing i hate is that it guzzels gas. If you are that worried about it overheating, just watch your temperature gauge

The car should be ok, I live in Miami and its hot all year long. In fact my radio burnt out and caused my a/c to constantly be on. When it got too cold I would just lower the windows. Now that puts strain on your a/c, when I got it fixed they just added some freon and i was good to go.
